At Safe Return Project, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Running the Health Clinic is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. Fulfilling health and safety needs in Richmond relies on the community creating an effective system for receiving and reintegrating residents returning from incarceration. We envision a Richmond where community members involved in the criminal legal system have strong relationships with their family and community have real opportunities for sustainable employment, a stable place to live, and access to the information and services that ensure they have the necessities for building successful lives.

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge.
